Throughout her career, Pansy Ho has actively promoted the transmission of intangible Chinese culture and international cultural exchanges with pioneering innovation. In 1987, she founded the integrated brand consultancy to bring renowned international brands into the Mainland. Since 1993, she has served as the Chairman of the French May Arts Festival and organised cultural events between the Mainland and France, including the 2014 exhibition of Chinese decorative arts and lacquerware at the Louvre Museum, the 2017 collaborative exhibition with the National Museum of China, eventually becoming the first Ambassador for the Louvre in the Mainland.

 

This year, Pansy continues to actively champion excellent Chinese culture on the world stage with initiatives such as the successful application for UNESCO World Heritage status of Beijing Central Axis, facilitating the partnership between the Guimet Museum and Dunhuang Academy, and establishing the POLY MGM Museum, a new cultural tourism landmark in Macau.

 

Pansy was the first Ambassador of the Louvre in the Mainland, UNWTO Tourism Ambassador, as well as the first official Ambassador of the Pacific Asia Travel Association Foundation. She has served as Board Member of UNDP – Peace & Development Foundation, Co-Chairman of the Board of Association Culturelle France-Hong Kong, and Founding Honorary Advisor & Board Director of The University of Hong Kong Foundation for Educational Development & Research Limited.

 

Significant awards and honours include “Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur” by the Government of  France; “Grande Ufficiale dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia” by the Government of Italy; “Beijing Overseas Chinese Jing Hua Award” by the Beijing Municipal Government; “Silver Bauhinia Star” by the Hong Kong SAR Government; and “Medal of Merits” – Tourism by the Macau SAR Government.
