Guy Salter is a high-end brand investor and retailer. Starting at the Arcadia Group, he moved from fast fashion to luxury, with a spell in between working for HRH The Prince of Wales, now HM King Charles III. Salter has been Chairman, CEO, and investor in a range of consumer-facing businesses, including Asprey Group, BazaarVoice, Laurent-Perrier Champagne, Tanner Krolle, Garrard, and most recently, Monica Vinader, Nyetimber, Hamilton and Hare, Hamleys, House of Fraser, and Quiet Man.

 

Salter’s pro bono work includes fifteen years leading Walpole, which represents the British luxury industry. In 2015, he founded London Craft Week, which features over 400 events across London and presented its tenth edition in May, 2024. The UK Prime Minister appointed him Chairman of the Great Britain Campaign, which is thirteen years old this year. Salter has spoken at BODW in 2006, 2017, 2020, and 2022.
